Achieva Credit Union Appoints Debbie Rogers Interim President and CEO

CLEARWATER, FL  (January 9, 2008) Achieva Credit Union today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed CFO Debbie Rogers, as interim president and CEO, effective immediately.  Rogers replaces Joe Newberry, who has resigned from his position. Newberry will be returning to his home state of Alabama and to Redstone Federal Credit Union as their President and CEO.

A 27-year veteran of the company, Rogers has played an integral role as CFO in sustaining Achieva’s robust financial health.  She oversees all company financial matters and will continue in this capacity during the interim period.  The Board of Directors has begun their search for a permanent CEO.  Rogers will serve as president and CEO until the process is completed.
