Registration Cost

• 5K (Age 18+) = $25
• 5K (Age 17 & Under) = $10
• Kids Run = $10
• Dog Walk = $10 (no shirt)
• Dog Walk = $15 (shirt included)

Online registration closes at 10:00 am on Friday, January 24. Registration is available at Friday night packet pick-up or for a $5 price increase on race morning.

Packet Pick-Up

• Friday, January 24th, 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Fleet Feet Sarasota (711 S Osprey Ave, Sarasota, FL 34236)
• Packets may also be picked up on race morning.

Race Day Schedule

• 6:45 am - Packet Pick-up and Race Day Registration opens
• 7:30 am - Opening Ceremony
• 8:00 am - 5K
• 8:30 am - Dog Costume Contest Judging
• 8:45 am - Kids Run
• 8:50 am - Dog Walk
• 9:00 am - Awards Ceremony

Course

• The Start and Finish areas are in Payne Park (2050 Adams Lane, Sarasota) on the School Avenue side of the park
• The Kids Run and Dog Walk course follows the 1/2 mile or 1 mile crushed cinder path in the park. Click here to view the Kids Run and Dog Walk course map.
• The 5K is a two-lap course through the park on crushed cinder, concrete and grass. Click here to view the 5K course map.

Awards

• Awards for the 5K will be given to the overall 5K finishers in the following categories for both male and female:

  • Overall
  • Master (Age 40 and over)
  • Grand Master (Age 50 and over)
  • Senior Master (Age 60 and over)
  • Veteran Master (Age 70 and over)

  Age group awards will be given to the top 6 finishers in the following age groups for both male and female:

  • 9 & under
  • 10-12
  • 13-15
  • 16-19
  • 20-24
  • 25-29
  • five year increments up to 100 and above

  All Kids Run participants and youth age 12 and under in the 5K will receive a finisher's medal. A prize will also be given to the winner of the doggie costume contest.

Dog Costume Contest

• Don't forget to dress your furry friends in their most festive attire for the doggie costume contest!

Parking

• Free event parking is available in the Payne Park lot and in the parking garage located on Adams Lane
