Kenneth G. Rase, CFP®, Joins Achieva Credit Union as Vice President, Wealth Management, Achieva Financial Planning and Trust Services

CLEARWATER, FL – August 30, 2010 – Achieva Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Kenneth Rase as Vice President, Wealth Management, Achieva Financial Planning and Trust Services.
Rase has been a Financial Advisor for nearly 10 years in the credit union industry, developing and maintaining wealth management plans and investment services. He holds a Series 7 and 66 license and also Health, Life and Variable insurance licenses. “We are very excited by the addition of Kenny as Vice President of Wealth Management” stated Gary Regoli, Achieva Credit Union President and CEO. “His expertise in working with members approaching or currently needing income for retirement will only strengthen our team of advisors and specialists that use various planning tools, products and services to meet our members’ needs.”
A Certified Financial Planner (CFP) is a financial professional who meets the requirements established by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. In order to obtain the CFP mark, an applicant must: Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; complete a CFP Board-registered education program; pass the 10-hour CFP certification exam; have at least three years of qualifying full-time work experience in financial planning; and pass a professional fitness standards and background check. Once appointed, a CFP professional must meet continuing education requirements every other year in order to maintain the certification. Rase graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Sociology, and from the University of Florida with a Master of Science Degree. He is a member of CUNA Brokerage Service’s Senior Advisor Leadership Team and served as a member of CUNA Brokerage Services President Council as well as being a Genworth Gold Premier Consultant.
