Membership Requirements:

  • Eligibility for membership is open to anyone who is related to a current Achieva member*; or individuals, trusts, associations, organizations and legal entities who live or work in Charlotte, Collier, Hernando, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas and Sarasota Counties.
  • A $1 deposit into a Simply Savings account, along with a payment of a $15 membership fee establishes membership.
  • Individuals who do not live or work within Achieva’s Field of Membership are eligible for membership by making a minimum required contribution to the Achieva Foundation.

*Immediate family members of such, defined to include parents, children, spouse, or surviving spouse of the member, or any other relative by blood, marriage, or adoption even though such individuals do not reside in the same household with the member are eligible for membership.

Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each new person who opens an account.

What this means for you - When you open an account, we will collect from all new owners/signers;
(1) Legal name;
(2) Physical address;
(3) Date of birth;
(4) Social security number or tax identification number.
In addition to obtaining this information from you, a valid form of government issued identification with a photo must be presented.


Your deposits with us are safe and federally insured to at least $250,000 by the NCUA, and backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S Government.  Retirement accounts and deposits held in different ownership categories are insured separately up to $250,000.

Pursuant to the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 and Regulation GG, ‘restricted transactions’ such as those in which a person accepts credit, funds, instruments or other proceeds from another person in connection with unlawful Internet gambling, are prohibited. You agree that such transactions will not be conducted through your account at Achieva Credit Union. Please be advised that should Achieva Credit Union determine that your account is being used to engage in restricted transactions, we may terminate your access to certain payment systems and/or close your account.
