Achieva Credit Union Scholarship Recipients

Clearwater, Florida – June 13, 2012 – Achieva Credit Union awarded $10,000 in scholarship money to ten finalists in the 2012 Achieva Scholarship Program. Each recipient received $1,000 to assist in furthering his or her education.
The 2012 recipients are Nicole Bredeson, Robert B. Clark, Jr., Kristianne Garcia, Amie Gerodimos, Vincent A. Giura, Jocelyn Holmes, Sebastian Johnson, Cherie N. Kubler, Kimberly Tavares and Caitlin Ward. A luncheon was held in their honor on Monday, June 11th and attended by recipients and their guests, Achieva Senior Management and Board Members, and Scholarship Committee members. Gary Regoli, President/CEO stated, “Whether they are pursuing college, technical or career education it’s an honor to provide assistance to our members for educational advancement. We wish each of the recipients great success as they pursue their educational goals.”
More than 150 applications were submitted making this year’s scholarship program the largest to date. Each applicant submitted a detailed application, two letters of recommendation, a school transcript, and an essay detailing the impact financial decisions made today have on the future, and how Achieva’s products and services can assist in these decisions. While the task to select the top ten applicants was difficult, the Scholarship Committee is proud to present these ten members as our 2012 Scholarship Recipients.
